Finding New Friends
Dear Homo,
I just moved to a fairly decent sized city, after being away for a while. I am a little older than I was before I left, and now I seem to have trouble finding new friends my age, with the same interests. I've tried the online scene, and Gay.com is always the same guys that are cheating on their boyfriends/partners, game players, or just total crackheads. I am not looking for a relationship at the moment, but I am looking for some new quality friends, can you help me?
You're the best Homo!

Of course I can help you out. There are always new and interesting people, everywhere you turn. Try going out to local events that interest you. I know here in Reno, the RGJ has a section entitled, "Find things to do". It's a very cool widget. Maybe your hometown newspaper has something like that.
Work is also a very cool place to meet new people and observe what your collegues are interested in too.
Try that out and let me know.
Always Glad To Help a Homo,
The Homo
